Tree up to 38m tall and 150cm diameter.

Habitat: Very rare in mixed dipterocarp forest, on mainly clay soils and at foot of limestone hills.

Distribution: Throughout Sarawak.

Note: The latex is used as a poison for blow-pipe darts.
