SIBU, 20 August 2026 - The FOSCC Timber Supply Chain Operations and Compliance Course 2026 was successfully held at Kingwood Hotel, Sibu, from 18–20 August 2026, and it was officiated by Tuan Haji Shamsul Bojeng, Head of the Revenue and Data Management Division (RDMD).
A collaboration between RDMD and Technical Training and Research Development Section of Management Services Division (MSD), this marked FOSCC's first dedicated technical and operational training programme.
Through classroom briefings and hands-on REVLOG system practice, trainers Tuan Joshua Deri, Puan Hasanaliza Bujang, Puan Evelyn Iyu and Tuan Haji Nazari Ali guided 18 participants from RDMD and the Regional Forest Offices of Sibu and Kapit.
The course is aimed to equip Forest Department Sarawak staff with comprehensive knowledge of Chain of Custody processes and updated Revenue Collection SOPs, ensuring accurate registration, monitoring and reporting of forest products in line with the Forests Ordinance 2015, while working towards certifying officers as competent to carry out FOSCC-related tasks.
